Role Description:

The Brand Manager will focus on Growth Gurus and sub-brands of Growth Gurus. The goal of the role is to work with our different departments to output the best possible version of Growth Gurus aligned with our long-term strategy, and the needs of our sales team.

One of your major responsibilities will be ensuring the Growth Gurus brand is well-managed and that the strategy is implemented successfully. This will involve liaising with the various departments of the business, researching and providing ideas for tactics and strategy adjustments and overseeing the overall content and social media plan.

You will be accountable for scheduling and participating in regular creative brainstorm sessions to generate social media and advertising ideas to maximise our use of digital channels and our online presence. You will support our goals and feed our delivery teams with content and creative research and written briefs for content, design and campaigns. Critical feedback should be provided on creatives and content in order to better reach our goals.

This role is both creative and analytical – it involves sourcing and reporting on relevant data to provide insights to department heads that will guide future campaigns.

To ensure smooth delivery of our marketing and social media, you will communicate with our Heads of Departments on the ongoing implementation of the digital marketing plan regularly and work with the Account Manager to ensure all tasks are delegated, team members informed and have all the information they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and implement Growth Gurus marketing strategy and campaign planning.
  • Communicate with the media team, campaign team, website team, sales team to make sure deliverable deadlines are met and that the plan is running smoothly.
  • Deliver monthly reports to the strategy team. 
  • Support with setting targets and budgets analysing past data to extrapolate forecast projections.
  • Review content and provide creative ideas to enhance our social media and marketing.
  • Be the Growth Gurus brand champion.
  • Monthly website update review and suggestions.
  • Competitor Research analysing local and international Growth Gurus competitors.
  • Identify and research new business opportunities and support the sales team in a pre-sales role to deliver powerful pitches.
  • Assisting the Head of Sales & Marketing in developing new client bases.
  • Identify new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Contribute in developing the Growth Gurus marketing strategy. 
  • Assist with reporting and identify areas needing improvement.
  • Follow industry trends locally and internationally.
  • Evaluate data from relevant channels, GA, FB, LinkedIn, Adwords, Instagram, CRM, etc and provide holistic reports.

How you’ll score with us:

  • Proven working experience in digital marketing.
  • Managerial experience is desired.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising marketing campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Solid knowledge of Google Analytics, and experience using Facebook Ads Manager, Linkedin Campaign Manager and Google Ads.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Proven 2+ years of experience as Brand / Marketing Manager or a similar role.

Our selection process:

  • We will shortlist a number of candidates that meet the criteria set for the role and conduct a round of first interviews, to assess the culture fit and validate the experience and suitability for the role.
  • A small number of these candidates will progress to a final detailed interview with a Director.
  • A decision will be taken after a rigorous assessment of these final candidates.
