We are Hiring a Business Development Manager

Over the past 6 years, we’ve helped hundreds of companies grow through our dedicated digital growth services. Growth Gurus is a specialised team of digital scientists that explore, measure and manage the digital marketing space. We help our clients unlock their digital potential, using data-driven tactics to deliver calculable growth.

As part of our plans to grow our business, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The candidate should be commercial, target driven and love working in a fast-paced, energetic environment where striving for excellence is the norm. The candidate must be effective at building relationships with prospective clients, communicating and selling the benefits of our services and converting that into tangible revenues for the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Managing Director with pipeline management of the leads generated for the business
  • Drafting proposals for prospective clients, following initial discovery meetings
  • Following up on all proposals sent out, to drive higher conversion rates and close sales
  • Managing the company’s CRM system
  • Setting sales targets with management, and striving to meet and beat those targets
  • Attending conference and events, to build and retain client relationships and raise the profile of the Growth Gurus brand
  • Supporting the production team with the onboarding of new clients

What’s essential to us:

  • Minimum of 3-year experience in a sales role
  • Track record of meeting and beating sales targets
  • Track record of closing sales
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Apart from possessing excellent spoken and written English, they will be able to effectively communicate with, motivate and inspire prospects
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Somebody who shares our values and fits into our team and culture
  • Have a desire to learn, understand new concepts and ask thoughtful questions,
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team and be accountable for their own work

Our selection process:

We will shortlist a number of candidates that meet the criteria set for the role and conduct a round of first interviews, to assess the culture fit and validate the experience and suitability for the role.

A small number of these candidates will progress to a final detailed interview with the Managing Director, and a decision will be taken after a rigorous assessment of these final candidates.

Compensation:

The role will be offered a base wage of €20,000 per annum along with a motivating and rewarding commission structure on revenue generated.
