We’re delighted to announce that Growth Gurus have picked up the MCA eBusiness Award for the category of Best eCommerce Site with our partners Fablab Valletta.
On March 27th, The Malta Communication Authority held the 8th annual eBusiness awards, acknowledging unique and innovative ideas and initiatives in the use of web-based technologies and eBusiness for businesses and society at large. After being shortlisted and winning this category, we are proud to see all of the team’s hard work rewarded by the MCA.
The fablab tagline is to create almost anything. The fablab team pushed boundaries and drove us to create a state-of-the-art website with some truly unique eCommerce features. Malta is right at the heart of innovation, and we are extremely proud to have been a part of it.

The project
Fablab Valletta was chosen as the worthy winners of the Growth Gurus Facebook Live Christmas competition, in which one business or entrepreneur was solely picked to receive an industry leading website worth €10,000.
Our aim was to create an industry leading website that connected the global community of innovators and enabled anyone to seamlessly book and pay for a combination of tutors, materials, time and advanced fabrication machines.
There was a strong synergy right from the start between ourselves and the Fablab Valletta team, which aided the fabrication of a unique online experience and helped amplify their online presence.
The Fablab Valletta new eCommerce website was specially designed with the customer at heart, factoring in website usability, visibility and overall online customer experience – a feature at the forefront of their business model.
